Our Story

After two decades delighting the cities of Richmond and Manassas Virginia with homemade pizzas and Italian food and creating memorable moments for many families, we decided to adventure to the State of Florida and picked Tampa as our new home. The curiosity of discovering  this lovely city and not having yet picked a name for our pizzeria made us want to choose something that was representative of our new home and pushed us to research  the meaning of  the name Tampa.

 

We found out that it is believed to mean “Sticks Of Fire” in the language of the Calusa, a native American tribe that lived on the Southwest coast of Florida in the 1500’s, one the most powerful tribes that fought bravely against the Colonization. Such a powerful meaning with a lovely history hooked us immediately. In honor of this brave tribe we want to welcome you to:
